Chad Ball

Dr. Chad Ball has served as Senior Pastor of First Baptist Church of Gautier since June 2023. Originally from Savannah, Tennessee, he has served in pastoral ministry for more than two decades and has a heart for discipleship, missions, revival, and the faithful preaching of God’s Word.

Before coming to FBC Gautier, Dr. Ball served churches in Tennessee and Mississippi. He also spent several years serving through the International Mission Board in North Africa. His ministry philosophy is centered on faithfully preaching Scripture and helping people apply biblical truth to everyday life.

Dr. Ball holds a Ph.D. in Leadership from Carolina University. His favorite passage of Scripture is Titus 2:11–14, which reflects his desire to see believers grow in godliness while living with the expectation of Christ’s return.

He and his wife, Christy, were married in January 2003 and have four children: Kalyn, Lamar, Sarah, and Alia Grace. In his free time, he enjoys riding his motorcycle as a way to relax and decompress. 

Dr. Ball’s passion is to lead people to know Christ deeply, grow in His Word, and faithfully live out the gospel.

And no, his sermons are not as long as his beard.
